The Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship, a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

What does a night at GNC look like?
To start the night off right, kids are served pizza EVERY WEEK! As they proceed to their respective age groups, your child will encounter hands-on learning in the form of interactive songs, crazy activities, and games that reinforce each lesson. ​They’ll not only enjoy their time connecting with friends, but with dedicated and faithful leaders who have been called to serve in this fun and rewarding ministry!
GNC Jr.
Designed for children in Preschool (age 4/5, and potty trained), your child will begin to explore who Jesus is through age-appropriate stories and fun, engaging activities.
Good News Club
For kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade, our leaders will work with your child to further explore the Bible and help them form a deeper understanding of the teachings of Jesus. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, review games, and other activities focused on the lesson theme.
JYou Connection
A place for middle-schoolers and young teens (Grades 6 - 9; ages 11-14) to enjoy faith, fun and friends. In addition to learning more about Jesus, kids discuss and learn the truth about things that really matter and that are everlasting like hope, faith, salvation, joy, love, courage and more.
Meet Our Good News Club Director,
Chris VanOstrand
When Miss Chris retired from a career as a middle school Math teacher in 2019, she prayed for ways to use her gift of teaching for the Lord. Never would she have imagined that God would lead her, along with several others, to begin a Good News Club! As Director, Chris oversees all three clubs, serving children in grades Pre-K thru 9. Chris’ passion is to see children make decisions to accept Jesus, follow Him closely, and be bold in telling others the Good News! She enjoys serving alongside her husband, Jamie, a group leader in GNC. Together, they are truly amazed at how much children soak up about God (even when the kids are wiggly)!
